Me at work

This is more evidence of my hard work in Anchorage. As a designer, nothing beats hands on experience! I still have a lot to learn when it comes to construction methods, but I think I'm on a good path. In this image I was still working on the laminate floor.
In the future I hope to get more construction work with friend or family.

Installing Laminate flooring

Installing the laminate flooring at my aunt and uncle's house in Anchorage was my main task while working there. My cousin Demian and I were able to complete the task in good time. For more images please see my Personal Work page.

Anchorage Deck

Some more Alaska pics! Here is one of the many projects we completed. I have to say that the deck my proudest accomplishments. My Personal Work page has a few more images of the deck, feel free to check it out.

Kim's Dog

My cousin Kim's Dog "Casio" is one of my favorites. She's fuzzy, barely barks, and is very active. Would love to have one like her some day.

We had a lot of fun together at the Cabin!

The Cabin on Nancy Lake

Here it is! The place I stayed the weekend of April 17th. Honestly it was the exact experience I wanted to have while in Alaska. The wood drum in the front is a hot tub. It's heated by a stove and the water used must be pumped from the lake. it takes about 4 hours to get to a decent temperature.
I thought a sepia tone would add character to the picture. Along with uncle Gordon in the Door way. I'll have nothing but great memories from this trip to the cabin. More images soon to follow

On the way to Nancy Lake

Off to the Cabin for a little relaxation. I can't come to Alaska and only work, I gotta experience the landscape.

My uncle has a cabin on Nancy Lake that he's been slowly working on though out the years. It's about 1/2 mile hike across the frozen Lake to get there. There for everything you need for your stay must be dragged by sled.

3 more days!

Only 3 more days and then I'm off to Alaska. I'll do my best to post pics.
