This rendering was one of the first presented to the client. We used AutoCAD 2009 so it was sort of an experiment since the program is rarely used for such task. It was also my first attempted rendering in AutoCAD.
Kitchen Island, Shop Drawings (2008)
The drawing bellow represent a small portion of a project I engineered while working for Hendrickson Custom Cabinetry. The island was very unique/modern design which made it a lot of fun to draft.
All the cabinets were noted in each section for proper location and alignment
When the drawings went to the manufacturing floor, each cabinet was detailed on it's own sheet. This process saved a lot of confusion for the team of builders constructing them. It worked well however looking back it could have been done more efficiently in respects to saving paper.
The islands eating area was finished with white corian and had several compound miters. The drawing bellow illustrates the construction method and details of the assembly.
